The care I received was excellent. Everything I wanted was taken care of. The staff were always there to help in anyway. I couldn't ask for anymore.
I was early on arrival and pleased to see the reception was open, the receptionist was very pleasant and booked me in, she had a very pleasant and warm attitude, the reception got very busy very quickly, I did have a short wait but we were advised this may happen, I met the anaesthetist who did his checks and asked if there were anything I wasn't sure of, it was at that time I met Prof Snow who answered the couple of questions on follow up info, I then had my final check over and questioner completed by a very thorough and competent member of your team, I was then taken to the ward and prepared for my operation, I was in the pre op facility by 9:45 and everyone was pleasant and reassuring and I was put very much at ease, I hardly noticed 10 am and I was away in slumberland, I came around just before noon and reassured all went well and information given me re recovery and things to do and not to do, I had a nice cup of tea before going back on the ward, the nurse's were great on on the ward there attention to ones needs and comfort was of a priority, again checks and monitors re temperature blood pressure etc, they also make excellent cups of tea, all in all a very good experience considering it was an operation.

I have very high confidence in the staff of this hospital. Everything seems very well run. the nursing and theatre assistant staff are kind and friendly, while maintaining professional standards. I am shortly to undergo knee revision surgery, which I was rather concerned about, but since choosing The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital I feel reassured.
Could not fault service at ROH. All staff were friendly and professional from HCAs to my consultant (Mr Mikalef). Was seen promptly, soon after the appointed time and my treatment progressed smoothly from admission to discharge. I was fully involved in clinical decisions and the staff were happy to answer questions regarding my treatment. Exemplary service - thanks to all involved.

1st John who was very professional helpful and explained all the procedures that he was carrying out as the first part of my assessment.
2nd Emma who again was very professional helpful and explained all the procedures that she was carrying out as the second part of my assessment.
Both John & Emma are a credit to the hospital and their profession, I felt that nothing that was asked by myself was neglected or not answered to my satisfaction.
